Training Bases
Jandakot Airport
China Southern West Australian Flying College Jandakot facility has been designed to provide for every aspect of flight training. These include our own engineering department and maintenance hangers to keep the fleet of aircraft in a safe and pristine condition. The ground school classrooms are fully equipped. The College has set up a fully functional CBT system and an extensive resource centre.
Merredin Aerodrome
Merredin was chosen as the site to develop the College’s own flight training aerodrome because of the flat open country. This lowly populated rural area with dedicated airspace provides the college with a safe enviroment for flying training. At the Merredin Aerodrome cadet pilots fully utilize the fully functioning airstrips for both day and night flying exercises. In the township of Merredin the college has established its own village for cadet pilot accommodation. The village has manicured gardens and excellent recreational facilities.
