China Southern West Australian Flying College (CSWAFC) is one of Australia's most productive Flight colleges, which will operate under a Part 142 training authorization. We train student pilots for China's largest airline, China Southern, at Jandakot and Merredin Airport in Western Australia. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Administration Specialist (Casual) for this dynamic organization. This person will primality provide support to the Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager whilst assisting with other areas of the business from time to time.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with the organisations extensive and wide ranging compliance and quality framework including documentation and management systems.
  • Document control including the preparation, review and management of technical documents, manuals, procedures, etc (electronic and hard copies).
  • Collaborating with corporate advisors, technical experts, key stakeholders and team members to maintain and monitor the organisations business and industry regulatory obligations.
  • Assist stakeholders to understand their quality and compliance obligations and controls.
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of compliance audits and schedules.
  • Preparation of agenda’s and minutes of meetings.
  • Other administrative duties as they arise.

To be successful you must have:

  • The ability to research, comprehend and interpret legal and corporate obligations.
  • Extensive administrative experience.
  • Extensive document preparation and management skills (Documentation Specialist).
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others.
  • Self-motivated and proactive individual.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • An analytical mind who is able to "see" holistically the complexities of operating and managing a business, flight school, student facilities, aircraft and various highly skilled teams and have the ability to bring them all together.
  • Aviation industry experience highly regarded.
